We decided to get an early start out of Marco since we had an 11 hour run ahead of us. Seas were calm and the wind was perfect. We made a straight shot across to Key West. It couldn’t have been much better.
We rounded the Key West beacon, passed by Mallory Square and headed around Key West to the south side. Our destination was Stock Island Marina. Shortly after the turn into the Key West channel, Dorothy spotted a small pod of dolphin off the port bow. June was sitting in wait and was able to get a great video of dolphin welcoming us to the keys.
